Anybody remember that guy who was in headlines for playing pickup ball in a full Michael Jordan Bulls uniform?
It was calculated on the source of information that his name is Jeffrey Harrison of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — aka CDA MJ.
A local TV channel recited his story — about how he has been a fan of Jordan since age 4 and his love for basketball has played a part in his life with autism. And, apparently Jordan saw his story, because Harrison got the surprise of his life on Friday, while KREM-2’s Darnay Tripp was there to share the whole thing about the surprise:
There were two boxes full of Jordan gear to add to his collection.

Harrison even received a letter from MJ himself, which encouraged him to “Continue to believe in himself, play hard and to always remember to enjoy the game”. As was reported by

With all such surprise, he had one major surprise on top of that all, that was a phone call with him.The end of Jeffrey’s phone calls with Michael Jordan. As was reported by

“I knew it was him. It kind of brought me to tears after I got off the phone so I figured this is really going to be nice,” Harrison’s words to KREM. “The fact that Michael Jordan took the time to call and put all this together. I love it, even the cologne, even the sweats. I love it.”
Harrison wasn’t able to hide his happiness with a never expected surprise. He was glad about receiving a surprise from MJ. We can hope both of them will take the court together one certain day.
