Dr. Hathi aka Kavi Kumar Azad is an Indian Actor, Poet, Writer, Producer and stand-up comedian from Bhojpur, Bihar, India and currently reside in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

He was born on 2nd January, 1973 (45 age ), who belongs to Brahmins caste and Hindu religion. Kavi is popularly known as “ Dr. Hansraj Hathi” in famous Tv series, Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah on Sab Tv. He completed his studies from Bihar High Senior Secondary School and is obsessed to listening music and writing poetry.

Kavi was suffering from several diseases like diabetes, hypertension, cardiac problem and high blood pressure. At the age of 45, the famous comedian, Hathi died on 9th July, 2018 due to massive cardiac arrest ( heart attack). According to the main report, he was sick since the past few days and suffered in the hospital. He died in Wockhardt Hospital at Mira Road, Mumbai.
The Producer of the show said that Kavi was an amazing positive actor, he truly loved the show and never missed the shoots, even when he was unwell.
But on 9th July, 2018, he called and said he won’t be able to come as he was ill. Later we got to know that he passed away. We all are numb to say anything, he further added. His presence will be missed!
