Career
He start his career from 2007 and still he is working. Mr. Sharma firstly worked with MH-One for the show “has de has and raho” , then E got his first break in great Indian laughter challenge. In 2007 he won one show and for that he got the prize money of worth Rs. 10 lakes. Then he participated in comedy circus in Sony entertainment television. He won 6 seasons of comedy circus. He hosted many reality shows.
In 2013 he became producer and he launched his own show by the name of “Comedy nights with kapil” on colors.
In 2014 he was declared as the brand ambassador by the Delhi election commission.
Social work
In 2014 at the month of July he adopted a homeless dog and named him “ZANJEER”. Zander is a retired police dog from Mumbai. Then he appeared in a PETA Compagian. He promote adoption of homeless dogs and cats.

He had a relation with “Preethi Simoes”. They met on the set of comedy circus and then she did the working with the direction of Comedy nights with kapil. Now she is working with “‘THE KAPIL SHARMA SHOW”. So according to the rumors he is single now.
