Pratyusha Banerjee was an indian actress. She appeared in many indian television shows. She had also appeared in many reality shows. Banerjee first gained recognition in the television show Balika Vadhu.

Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide on April 1 by hanging from the fan at her Mumbai home. She was rushed to the Kokilaben hospital where she was declared dead. Pratyusha will be cremated as a bride as she had mentioned her wish to get married sometime before committing suicide hence her family will dress her as a bride before bidding her adieu. It had been reported that she was experiencing difficulties in her relationship with Rahul Raj Singh and had accused him of infidelity.
