Rakhi is 5’3’’ tall and fair in complexion. Rakhi was born in a conservative family in Mumbai and she has stayed in Mumbai her whole life. Her father was a Marathi while her mom was Gujrati. She has done her schooling at Gokhibai High School and then went to Mithibai College in Mumbai. There is no information about her real father but her stepfather’s name is Anand Sawant and her mother’s name is Jaya Bheda. She has a brother named is Rakesh Sawant who is a film director and a sister named Usha Sawant who is an actress.

Her relationship status is married as she exclaims that she has married a guy called Ritesh but no one has a clue about him. Before this, she married an NRI guy in her show ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamwar’ with Elesh Parunjanwala’ in 2009.
